This announcement could seem like an April Fools’ Day joke, but it is not. The City of Dunwoody recreation program coordinator Kate Borden announced on Monday, March 1, 2021, the Dunwoody North Shallowford Annex will re-open Thursday, April 1, 2021, under strict guidelines for events and programs.

The Metropolitan Coin Club of Atlanta meetings will resume at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Room #1.
The maximum group size of each meeting is limited to thirty (30) people. Stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19. And stay at home if you are sick.
During the meetings, always adhere to the six-foot social distancing rule with people who do not live with you. Everyone is required to wear well-fitting masks that always fit completely over their nose and mouth. Greeting others with physical contact, for example, handshakes, is discouraged. Practice hand hygiene etiquette washing your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, you can use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol and rub your hands until dry (provided in front of the Annex).
To help the Annex management with the unlikely need for COVID-19 contact tracing and to keep groups accountable for maintaining group size, attendees are required to provide their name and contact information.
The kitchen is closed. Refreshments are not allowed to be served.
At the conclusion of each meeting, all tables and chairs must be wiped clean. MCCA is responsible for its own cleaning supplies.
Since the group size is limited to 30 people, meeting pre-registration is required. The first 30 people to pre-register may attend the meeting. To pre-register for the Saturday, April 3, 2021 meeting, send an email with your name and contact information to MCCA president Tom Youngblood at tom.youngblood@att.net or call (770) 815-4042 no later than 12 noon Eastern Time, Friday, April 2, 2021.
