Whitman Brands says its Prestige premium coin album line has grown to more than 125 variations across 25-plus series and collections, covering coins from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Introduced in May 2025, the line includes albums in four finishes: black, burgundy, blue, and brown.
Recent additions include a modernized U.S. Type Coin Collection, designed to bring the traditional type-set format into the present with newer U.S. designs and expanded spaces for selected classic issues. NGC and CAC have also created registry sets based on the collection, allowing certified-coin collectors to track and share their progress digitally.
Whitman is also developing a two-volume album for modern U.S. Proof coins dated 1965–1998. The albums arrange the coins chronologically, offering a way to view decades of Proof coinage together rather than keeping each year’s set in its original packaging.
For collectors who want to build a custom set, the Prestige Universal Album pairs a binder with interchangeable, undated pages for coin types including cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollars, large dollars, and American Silver Eagles. The system can be used for specialized date runs, bullion, world coins, and other collecting projects.
The line also includes My First Album starter bundles, which pair a Prestige album with a partial group of genuine coins. The initial offerings cover Lincoln Wheat Cents, Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents, Jefferson Nickels, Statehood Quarters, and Kennedy Half Dollars.
Whitman lists more than 15 planned releases, including albums for Barber and Capped Bust coinage, modern Proof sets, and additional quarter series. A Mexico Type Collection and custom branded album programs are also in development.
