Celebrate Youth Sports with the U.S. Mint’s New Coin Designs

Exciting news for coin collectors and sports enthusiasts! The United States Mint is launching a new four-year circulating collectible quarter program in 2027, celebrating youth sports across the nation.

Under Public Law 116-330, the Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act (CCCRA), these special quarters will honor up to five youth sports each year through 2030. In addition, the Mint will release a redesigned half-dollar annually, showcasing a single Paralympic sport.

To create these designs, the Mint collaborated with the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. Now, they’re inviting Americans to participate by reviewing the proposed list of sports and sharing their preferences in a brief survey.

📅 Survey Dates: January 22, 2025 – February 20, 2025
