Collectors of early US type coins will be keeping a close on Heritage Auctions’ July 10-13 Summer FUN U.S. Coins Signature® Auction in Orlando, FL, as an 1802 JR-2 dime MS62 PCGS, the finest known example of this coin, makes itself available to the highest bidder.

Numismatists with interests in more modern rarities will find a 1907 Wire Rim $10 gold piece MS64 PCGS hard to overlook. The 1907 Wire Rim $10 is considered a pattern by some and part of the regularly collected series by others and has a minuscule mintage of just 472 pieces according to recent research by Roger Burdette.
